Our alterations services include hem adjustments on skirts and slacks, zipper replacement, re-sewing buttons, size alterations and adding or removing cuffs, as well as tailoring for suits, dresses, and specialty garments. Whether you need a simple hem or intricate modifications to formal attire, our skilled tailors deliver precision in every alteration.

Measurements and fittings can only be done at our Laurelhurst and Tacoma, Proctor locations. You can drop off garments for alterations at any of our other locations in Ballard, Lake City, Madison Park, West Seattle, Edmonds and Pearl but a fitting appointment requires Laurelhurst or Proctor.

Laurelhurst fitting hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 2:30pm, with a lunch break from 1:00pm to 1:30pm. Proctor’s fitting hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 1:00pm to 6:00pm, Thursday from 7:00am to 1:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am to 5:00pm.

Turnaround time depends on the complexity of the alteration and current volume at the location. Simple alterations like a hem or button repair are typically faster than complex tailoring work such as suit resizing or formal wear modifications. Ask your fitting location for a specific timeline when you schedule your appointment.
