Terms And Conditions
By scheduling, authorizing, or receiving services from Corry’s Fine Dry Cleaning (‘we,’ ‘us,’ or ‘our’), you (‘Customer’) agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.
1. Services
Corry’s Fine Dry Cleaning provides professional dry cleaning, laundry, wash-and-fold, alterations and tailoring, linen and bedding cleaning, wedding dress cleaning and preservation, pickup and delivery, and related services. The specific services to be performed will be agreed upon at the time of scheduling or drop-off. We reserve the right to decline any item we determine cannot be safely or effectively cleaned.
2. Estimates and Pricing
Estimates provided before cleaning are based on the visible condition of the garment or item at the time of assessment. Final pricing may vary if:
- The item requires additional treatments not apparent during initial inspection.
- Hidden damage, excessive soiling, or special materials are discovered during cleaning.
- The customer requests additional services, such as stain treatment, repairs, or alterations.
We will contact you for approval before performing any work that significantly exceeds the original estimate.
3. Pre-Existing Damage and Garment Condition
We take care to inspect each item upon receipt and will note any pre-existing conditions (such as fading, worn fabric, loose seams, missing buttons, tears, or staining) before cleaning begins. We are not responsible for damage that results from pre-existing conditions, defects in the garment, or weaknesses in fabric, trim, dyes, or construction that were present prior to our handling of the item. This includes damage arising from inherent weaknesses such as adhesives, sequins, beads, buttons, or manufacturer defects that may not withstand normal cleaning processes. Customers are encouraged to disclose any known issues with their items at the time of drop-off or pickup.
4. Care Labels and Cleaning Results
Items are cleaned in accordance with the manufacturer’s care label instructions. We are not responsible for damage to items that are missing care labels, are mislabeled by the manufacturer, or that the customer instructs us to clean contrary to the care label. While we use professional grade equipment and methods, we cannot guarantee the complete removal of all stains, odors, or damage. Results depend on the fabric type, age, dye stability, and nature of the staining or soiling. We will make every reasonable effort to achieve the best possible outcome.
5. Personal Property in Garments
Customers are responsible for removing all personal items (such as cash, jewelry, keys, pens, and electronics) from pockets and garments before drop off or pickup. We are not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property left in garments, or for damage to garments caused by items left in pockets.
6. Pickup and Delivery
For customers using our pickup and delivery service:
- Scheduled pickup and delivery windows are estimates and may vary due to traffic or other factors.
- Customers must ensure items are available at the agreed pickup location and provide a safe, accessible delivery location.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our control.
- Delivery fees, if applicable, will be communicated at the time of scheduling.
7. Storage and Unclaimed Items
Items left at our facility for more than 30 days after the customer has been notified of completion may be subject to a storage fee. We will make reasonable efforts to contact the customer before any fees are applied. Items unclaimed after 90 days may be disposed of or donated at our discretion, with prior written notice to the customer.
8. Payment
Payment is due upon pickup or delivery of the completed order. We accept cash, check, and major credit/debit cards. Returned checks are subject to a returned check fee. We reserve the right to hold items until payment in full has been received.
9. Liability Limitation
In the unlikely event that an item is damaged or lost while in our care, our liability is limited to the lesser of:
- The actual repair or replacement cost of the item, taking into account its age and condition.
- Ten times (10x) the cost of the cleaning service performed on that item.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We strongly encourage customers to inform us of the approximate value of any designer, heirloom, or high-value garments (including wedding dresses and specialty items) prior to service.
10. Customer Responsibilities
By using our services, the customer confirms that:
- They are the owner of the items, or have authorization from the owner to have them cleaned or altered.
- Any known hazards or conditions (such as chemical exposure, contamination, or biohazards) have been disclosed.
- Contact information provided is accurate and up to date.
11. Disputes and Complaints
If you are unsatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your items. We will work in good faith to resolve any concerns. Our goal is your complete satisfaction.
